makes you learn new things
makes you meet new friends
makes you value your life
makes you wonder if the next day will be as weird as the past one
makes you really enjoy a bottle of pepsi
makes you get wet on your way while on monsoon
makes you get used to bad smell
makes you forget your old smell because of the spices you have been eating the last 2 weeks
makes you kinda not like rice that much anymore
makes you really enjoy fresh food like salads or sushi
makes you see people in a different dimension
It shocks you when you go for breakfast and you are on the line to get some toasted bread and all the sudden apear like 10 arms of different people struggling to get one or 2 toastes
It shock you when you see that at the entrance of the supermarker, women are forced to put a plastic knot on their bags, and then on the way out the cashier takes a pair of scissors and releases the knot so that they can open their bags as well
It shocks you when you are the last one on lunch time and all the people that work at the mess room are waiting for YOU to serve your food so they can eat the remains of what the students left (I still can hear the noise of the metal trays, metal spoons, metal food containers, bashing each other so they can get some food, if you are LATE, you are NOT, as simple as that)
I shocks you when you see people sleeping in the street covered with flies and barely naked.
I shocks you when you realice that most indians are so skinny because probably when they where children, they didn't had the proper feeding so they weren't able to develop any muscular mass.
It makes you wonder if you did the right thing in coming
It makes you happy when you realice you did
It makes you sad when you realice that so many things that you might enjoy of india, you wont see them anywhere else
It makes you grow, but at the same time, it makes you smaller
It makes you see how BIG is TATA
It makes you enjoy cold water showers
It makes you value the drinking water
It makes you think stuff
Maybe it makes you think too much...
It makes you think that there's really a chance that you might be an extra on a bollywood movie
It makes you notice how air conditioned is
It scares you when you leave the airport and the first thing you see is a gun turret covered by sandbags with two military men
It makes you enjoy REAL coffee and REAL tea (that means without "malasa")
It makes you think what will come next for next day when you are at bed
It makes you live an experience like no other...
I.I.
